Taiwan is geographically gifted to enjoy plentiful of marine resources and, furthermore, benefited from its people’s zest for tongue-tingling seafood. Besides, we must pay attribute to the converging efforts made by academic institutes, government sectors and enterprises that ceaselessly develop unprecedented hatchery and aquacultural methods.

♦ 為了保持台灣一貫的優勢，台灣養殖產業已經針對「產業結構」、「管理制度」、「養殖技術」與「產銷功能」四個目的，於適當地點已規劃設置56個養殖漁業生產區。

In order to maintain Taiwan’s competitive advantages in aquaculture, we aim at achieving the following four purposes: Industrial Structure, Management System, Aquacultural Technology, Production and Sales Functions. Also, we have set up 56 fish farming districts on respective aquatic spots.

♦ 同時於1996年成立『台灣養殖漁業生產區發展協會』，並於2004年更名為『台灣養殖漁業發展協會』，協助全國漁民，將安全、美味、精緻的台灣魚產送到全世界老饕的餐桌上與口中！

In 1996, we founded Fish Farming District Development Association of the R.O.C. and renamed it as Aquaculture Development Association of the R.O.C in 2004. Its mission is to assist the fishermen nationwide and deliver safe, delicious and delicate seafood to be savored by gourmets all over the world!
